Validate the selected Protection Group snapshot, its membership, and its consistency model.

Select the restore operating model and obtain the required approvals.

Stop database resources and dismount affected database ASM disk groups where applicable.

On Everpure FlashArray, either overwrite original volumes or create new clone volumes from the selected snapshot.

Present only the intended volumes to the intended hosts.

Rescan storage and validate paths, multipathing, permissions, and ASM disk discovery on every target node.

Mount only the database ASM disk groups.

Recover and open the database according to the snapshot consistency model and recovery objective.

For clones, establish a unique database identity, register the database with Clusterware, and create clone-specific services.

Validate RAC, ASM, database, application, backup, monitoring, and integration status.
