On the Knowledge Portal you can search within the scope of the book or publication you are currently viewing.

To search within a book or publication:

  1. Perform a search on the Portal.
  2. Click a search result. The search box indicates that the next search will be scoped to the book being viewed.

  3. You can do one of the following:

    • Click the X icon to perform an additional search throughout the Knowledge Portal, or
    • Continue searching within the current book.

Note: If you remove the This Book filter from the search, it will automatically repopulate when you navigate into a book again.
  4. If you do not click the X icon and continue searching within the current book, entering a search query will direct you to the search results page, which will now show relevant results within your current book. The title on the search results page will include the name of the current book.

  5. On the search results page, you can again click Search in all documents to search throughout the entire portal, or continue your search within the current book.
