Oracle and OS
-
Oracle Grid Infrastructure (Clusterware and ASM) running normally on all RAC nodes.
-
All database ASM disk groups (DATA, FRA, REDO) mounted and accessible from every RAC node.
-
For the application-consistent workflow (the recommended default): an Oracle account able to connect as SYSDBA or SYSBACKUP to place the database in backup mode or suspend it.
Note: The snapshot itself is not issued from SQL*Plus. This account is not required for the crash-consistent alternative. -
Root or sudo access as required by automation tooling.
Storage
-
All ASM disks for a given database disk group must reside on Everpure FlashArray volumes.
-
All database volumes (DATA, FRA, REDO, and any volumes holding datafiles, control files, online redo, or recovery data) must be members of a single Everpure Protection Group.
Note: Do not add the OCR / voting (GRID / CRS / +OCR) volumes to this Protection Group. -
Everpure FlashArray CLI, REST API, or SDK access configured and authenticated.
-
Network connectivity from the automation host to the Everpure FlashArray management interface.
