When checking device information via vxdmpadm list dmpnode you should see that the ASL (Array Support Library) is already configured by verifying this field: 


asl = libvxpurestorage.so

If, for some reason, the asl is not automatically populated, you can obtain it manually from Veritas ASL site.

  1. You can get the ASL from https://sort.veritas.com/asl.
  2. Once on the site, select "Pure Storage" for Vendor, and the appropriate Platform for the host operating system:
  3. Install the latest version for your SFHA revision.
