If the volumes are not connected, you can now connect them to the cluster(s) you desire. You may pre-connect volumes while it is still in the demoted state, but you MUST have the ESXi personality set on the hosts prior to connection of demoted volumes. See the following KB for details:

2) Click the vertical ellipsis and then Connect |
3) Choose the volumes to connect. |
