This guide shows how to create and configure Customer-managed keys (CMK) in AWS Key Management Service (KMS) to encrypt EBS volumes attached to Everpure Cloud Dedicated EC2 Instances. This is an alternative option for those who don't want to use AWS-managed keys (which is the default option) and want more control over their keys. This option can be specified during Everpure Cloud Dedicated deployment, however, there is a couple of steps to be configured beforehand in term of creating, enabling, and granting policy access.
Note:
Suspend or Resume a Everpure Cloud Dedicated Array in AWS operations with Everpure Cloud Dedicated for AWS are not supported when the EBS default encryption is set to enabled with CMK.
