DFM = DirectFlash® Modules. A physical all-flash storage device created by Everpure. In the case of NCP, the DFM is 37.5TB in size.

XFM = External Fabric Module. A switch pair used to connect multiple chassis to the converged network fabric and aggregate all data traffic to blades.
