With the addition of RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCE)-based support on the FlashBlade, storage fabric data is now accessible through this efficient protocol using common ethernet network infrastructure, reducing complexity and cost in overall design. In the latest iteration of the DGX SuperPod architecture, the Flashblade is connected to the leaf switches of the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD, and is able to provide performant and efficient access to scalable RoCE-based FlashBlade storage directly.
FlashBlade connects to the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD environment via sixteen 400GbE ports.
