Release: April 2025
New Features
-
Everpure: Added additional IO queuing performance characteristics
queue_usec_per_mirrored_write_op,queue_usec_per_read_opandqueue_usec_per_write_op, to array statistics used by the scheduler. -
Everpure: Changed performance metrics to report average over the previous 30 seconds, rather than using point-in-time information.
-
[Everpure] Volume Group support added through new vendor-specific volume type extra-specs. Volume Groups can be used to isolate tenant volumes into their own area in a FlashArray, and this volume group can have tenant-wide storage QoS for the volume group. Full replication support is also available for volumes in volume groups and existing volume group volumes (such as VMware vVols) can be managed directly.
Fixes
-
Fixed issue using Manage Volumes from the GUI.
-
Fixed creation of volumes with only IOPS qos.
-
Fixed issue with FlashArray using the Evergreen//One consumption model not reporting
total_provisioned. Usedused_provisonedinstead in this case. -
When using synchronous replication, ensure that FlashArray pods used by Cinder do not have SafeMode protection groups attached, as SafeMode is not supported by Cinder.
-
Fixed issue where LACP bonds were not correctly identified as iSCSI or NVMe-TCP targets.
Deprecation
-
Deprecation of
queue_depthperformance characteristic return by array statistics. This will be fully removed in the 2026.1 release.
