The VASA Provider version shipped with Purity//FA will support specific VASA API Versions and can require specific vSphere versions to support those features. This reference will cover what VASA Provider versions are shipped with Purity//FA and then which vSphere versions support specific VASA API versions.

**While the VASA provider version 2.0.0 is available on Purity 6.2.0, the minimum version for full vVols support is 6.2.6 or 6.3.0

Note:

The VASA version may not update in the vCenter UI for the Storage Providers registered after a Purity upgrade on the FlashArray. This does not mean that the new VASA version isn't being used on the FlashArray or that there is anything failing with the Storage Providers. Rather the vCenter UI does not update the Array Information in the Storage Providers after the Purity Upgrade.

The process of un-registering and re-registering the Storage Providers in vCenter will force an update to the VASA version in the vCenter UI.

Please note that both ESXi and vCenter Servers need to be upgraded to the vSphere versions outlined in order to fully leverage that VASA API Version and features.
