Security scanners such as Tenable or Qualys may flag FlashArray or FlashBlade systems for Samba Vulnerabilities and CVEs.
Response
Native SMB is used within our supported FlashArray and FlashBlade products. Samba IS NOT in use within any of our supported Purity software. Samba was deprecated in Purity//FB 4.3.0 for Native SMB, which has better performance and scalability. Inactive Samba software components were then fully removed in subsequent versions.
