This includes the Splunk Classic architecture with Hot/Warm on Pure FlashArray, cold on Pure FlashArray over FC/iSCSI, or FlashBlade over NFS as well as Splunk SmartStore architecture with data on the Pure FlashBlade over S3 and Splunk Multisite SmartStore with Pure FlashBlade.
All best practices referred for FlashBlade in this document applies to the First-generation FlashBlade, FlashBlade//S and FlashBlade//E, unless and otherwise specifically stated. With the same Purity//FB operating environment as the First-generation FlashBlade, FlashBlade//S & FlashBlade//E supports NFS, SMB, and S3 protocols.
