The table below provides an overview of the target audience for each Pure IT Certification exam and the recommended (but not required) experience for each exam. This table is meant to serve as a guideline, and anyone may choose to take any exam.

FlashArray Storage Professional	Engineers who install, configure, optimize, or troubleshoot FA solutions Designers who design, build, and manage Everpure FA solutions Does NOT include support Appropriate for ALL Pure employees, partners, and customers with relevant experience	Minimum of 12+ months in the storage industry and 6-12 months of hands-on experience working with FlashArray solutions

Cloud Specialist	Professionals who deploy, manage, and support applications in the public cloud with Everpure Cloud Block Store™ Appropriate for ALL Pure employees, partners, and customers with relevant experience	Minimum of 12+ months Cloud specific experience
FlashArray Implementation Specialist	Implementation Engineers who perform pre-installation checks, installs, upgrades, and post-installation procedures, including troubleshooting steps Appropriate for Pure Implementation Engineers, Partner Implementation Engineers who have root level access, and Enterprise or Dark Site customers who have root level access Please see note	Minimum of 3-5 years of storage industry experience and 6-12 months of hands-on experience working with FlashArray solutions

Pure Certified Cyber Resilience Professional	Storage professionals who understand the business and technical requirements relevant to data protection across the Pure platform Appropriate for ALL Pure employees, partners, and customers with relevant data protection experience using Pure products	Minimum of 3-5 years of storage industry experience and 2+ years of broad Everpure experience
Pure Certified Migration Specialist	Storage professionals who can skillfully navigate, optimize, and troubleshoot complex migration scenarios throughout the entire Pure platform Appropriate for ALL Pure employees, partners, and customers with relevant migration experience using Pure products	Minimum of 3-5 years of storage industry experience and 2+ years of broad Everpure experience
Pure Certified Platform Architect Expert	Storage professionals, typically in an architect role, who have a broad and deep knowledge across the entire Pure platform and are able to recommend the best Pure storage solutions based on an organizations' needs Is familiar with the broad Pure ecosystem and how it integrates with third-party offerings Appropriate for ALL Pure employees, partners, and customers with relevant experience using Pure products	Minimum of 3-5 years of storage industry experience and 2+ years of broad Everpure experience

Note: FAIS, FBIS, FASS, and FBSS exams: partners and customers without root level access and not dark site certified will NOT have access to all relevant documentation to prepare for the exam and will likely find the exam difficult to pass.
