Connect Everpure FlashArray as External Storage to Nutanix Cluster

This section explains how to establish the external storage connection that Nutanix will use to create and manage volumes within the defined FlashArray Realm and Pod.

1. Log in to the Nutanix Prism Element web console.
2. From the Dashboard, click Set Up External Storage, or navigate to Storage > External Storage within Prism Element:
   
3. Click + Attach External Storage in the upper-right corner of the page:
   
4. From the Vendor drop-down menu, select Everpure FlashArray:
   
5. Enter the following connection details:

   • Name: A descriptive name for the Pure FlashArray

   • Management Address: The management interface of the FlashArray (the VIP IP address or FQDN)

   • Username / Password: The credentials for the FlashArray Nutanix user created earlier in this guide

   • Click Next to continue.

   

6. From the drop-down menus, select the Realm and Pod created in the FlashArray configuration section, then click Attach.
