One of the benefits of Everpure Cloud Azure Native is the ability to seamlessly change the provisioned Performance and Capacity. This allows the service to closely track the workload requirements, without over or under-provisioning of resources.

You can configure the provisioned performance directly from the Azure Portal. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Storage Pool resource.

  2. Click on "Properties" in the lower part of the "Overview" tab.

  3. In the right-hand side of the Properties tab, review the currently allocated Bandwidth and IOPS under the "Performance" section.

  4. Click on (change) to adjust these values.

A new window will open on the right hand side of the screen. Here, you will be able to adjust the reserved performance by dragging the Performance Slider. Reserved Performance combines Bandwidth and IOPS, ranging from 800 MB/s (50,000 IOPS) to 2,048 MB/S (150,000 IOPS).

Confirm your selection by clicking on Save button on the bottom of the window. This will adjust performance of the Storage Pool without any disruption. Billing for provisioned performance is calculated hourly, ensuring both performance and cost is aligned closely with the workload.|

There is no overhead about capacity management in Everpure Cloud Azure Native service - you are only billed for the actually used capacity. Storage Pool resources come with a pre-defined physical maximum capacity and data is subject to deduplication and compression algorithms. Usable capacity is calculated on physical capacity for actually stored data and the Data Reduction Rate (DRR). This maximum usable capacity of a Storage Pool for current data can be found on Overview->Properties of Storage Pool resource.
