This section covers how to promote an ActiveDR Pod on Everpure Cloud Dedicated, using the User Interface (UI).

  1. Navigate to the Everpure Cloud Dedicated UI > Protection > ActiveDR, where the replica link is configured and in replicating status.
  2. Promoting the pod can be done from the Replica link or from Pod view. Click on the vertical ellipsis and choose Promote Local Pod.
  3. This will promote the pod using the latest available recovery point, which is 2023-10-04 04:21. Confirm the promotion.
