If migrating from another array, use the other vendors settings until migration is complete, and then change the MPIO settings to Pure’s best practices. These are global settings, and you don’t want to cause an outage in production if a non-disruptive update was run on the other vendor’s array when the migration wasn’t finished. Conversely, do not initiate a Purity upgrade on the FlashArray, until all settings are configured to Pure’s best practices.
