Follow the steps below to prepare the FlashArray.

  1. Create a Host for each member of the cluster.

  2. Select each Host and configure the Host Ports with storage protocol specific initiator information (WWN or IQN).

  3. Create a Host Group for the cluster and add the Hosts.

  4. In the case of iSCSI, create a Volume and add it to the Host or Host Group. The iSCSI initiator will fail to connect to the FlashArray target with access denied if the Host does not have any connected volumes.
